Five minutes write: Admiration

"Loud applause filled the room as Dr. Mirable climbed the podium to collect her awards and certificate. She was the admiration of all, particularly her father. He couldn't help but feel proud of mirable and himself.

He had flashes of it all beginning 25 years ago. The room was quiet, with only the sound of footsteps of doctors and nurses walking round the corridor. He kept tapping his feet as he waited eagerly for doctors to come out and give him the good news.

After what felt like forever,a doctor came "Congratulations, Mr.Felix, you have a beautiful girl he said. Excited, he shook hands with the doctor while asking about his wife. And my wife, how's she doing?

'Sorry, we lost her. There were complications so she couldn't make it. The doctor replied

Broken and torn by the news of his wife's demise and possibility of raising his Little girl by himself, he crumbled and cried out loud.

It took a whole lot of, blood, sweats and tears to raise Mirable, but here she was today receiving honorarium. He couldn't felt but feel proud of his girl , for coming this far despite the troubles.
