5 Minute Freewrite (Prompt: Compost)

William and his daughter Darcy lived in the middle of nowhere. It was a 3-hour drive to the nearest city. They sold their crops in the farmers market in the city. But other than that, they spend most of their time working on their land.

One day, when they were working on their land, they saw something strange in the sky. William and Darcy looked at each other surprised because usually no airplane would pass that area. It wasn't an airplane, it looked like a strange spaceship.

Darcy recognized that it looks like an alien spaceship. It came closer and closer. They could see it now more clearly. William told his daughter to get inside the house, and they both went inside. William then looked for his gun.

The spaceship landed on their land near the house. They were able to see it from their windows. They saw an alien coming out of the spaceship and put a pile of compost on the land, and then he waved at William and Darcy and quickly got on the spaceship, and soon they were gone.

William told Darcy not to touch the compost before he himself examines it. William realized that there is nothing wrong with the compost, but it was somehow different from their own compost.

To test it, William got to work and to his surprise, the crops grew unusually fast. William wished they were more of this compost and questioned why that alien put a pile of compost on their land.

Did he want to joke around, or maybe wanted to say how strong and advanced they are? His intentions were not clear for William, but the important thing was he witnessed a sort of miracle, and he realized that it is a possibility for crops to grow really fast.
