Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - Without Suspicion. Hope you enjoy the story.
What is the one factor that decides if a crime would be a easy or difficult case to crack? I would think that would be if the criminal dress or behave with or without suspicion. There will always be a process where criminal commits crime, and if he is able to do it without suspicion, the crime will be detected late and earning him more time to get away. Likewise if he looks too suspicious then he might get reported by alert public even before he starts.
This reminds me of the great impersonator Ferdinand Waldo Demara, one of the most prolific impersonator in the 20th century. He has successfully impersonated several roles such as a naval surgeon during the Korean war by stealing the identity of a true surgeon. He also impersonator a college founder. He did all these without suspicion and we're exposed only later.
I would believe he succeeded without suspicion is partially attributed to time as technology wasn't as advanced and verification process were much simpler compared to today, of course we have our own set of problem today. Secondly would be his confidence and composure that is able to convince people around him not to be suspicious of him.
Please do not attempt any criminal activities that is against the law. Without Suspicion does not mean you leave no clue behind.
