5 Minutes Free Writing - Velvet Curtain
Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - Velvet Curtain. Hope you enjoy the story.
Jane stormed into Jason's room and pulls the velvet curtains apart. Letting a blast of bright sunlight into the room. She was surprised by the scene she saw when she turned around ready to be screaming at her younger brother.
Jason has locked himself in his room for a week, after his girlfriend of a year had initiated a breakup citing differences in character, but they knew it's not the truth. She is leaving him for her boss.
Unable to take the news, Jason went into his room and draws the velvet curtains and has not responded to calls or messages, cutting himself off from the world.
Despite calls from his love ones to come out of the room and starts taking care of himself. No one was able to get in contact with Jason and the drawn velvet curtains made matter worse as police were unable to surveillance the room when they were called in, that's why we had our opening scene.
