Alpha team commander, inspector Derek calls a team briefing at 2100 hour, as he will be the team lead in a joint operation "No Joke" involving multiple agency and with more than 200 personnel participating.
He will deploy his team members as sub team lead as they look to clean up the streets f illegal activities after months of groundwork.
24 hours later, with more than 70 arrests made. Derek realized no member of the local mafia "Snakky" the most notorious mob in town has been round up, this does not reason with all the ground intelligence and investigative work. They should be having routine activities that would be in the scope of operation, but they are effectively off the street yesterday.
An unlikely idea came up in Derek's mind as he does a post op briefing, a mole might have been planted that leaks detail of operation "No Joke".
This does no sits well with the force as it might signal wrong recruitment of a wrong policeman or worse corruption has taken place. In a discipline force, corruption would effectively bring law enforcement effectiveness down, higher crime rate and the rule of law would be challenged.
A wrong policeman would be sway when they are dealing with people with ill gain wealth, the people they handle daily are also going to influence them for their own benefits.
The wrong policeman is worse than a known thug.
