"I need a loan badly for my child's medical procedures" Jim was telling Henry.
"Maybe, The Avenue is your best bet now" Henry reminded Jim.

Jim lights up his last cigarette, went into deep thought. The avenue down the street is well known for all the notorious people and all illegal activities taking place there, loansharking and hitman are just some activities going on down there.

He is actually no stranger to the avenue, Jim used to be the best conman in the gambling den in the avenue, working for the "Boss" whom no one has seen his face. Not even Jim.

The boss is known in the avenue to be ruthless and cold blooded, but he is also well known to pay his guys handsomely should they do their job well

But Jim had his left pinky severed by the boss as he was distracted by a beauty during a game which has a much win instruction from the boss. And his pinky is his punishment. Thus Jim left the avenue.

Unknowingly, Jim has strolled right to fhs entrance of the avenue while that incident flash back in his mind, should he step into the avenue again?
