Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - The other Daughter. Hope you enjoy the story.
"I think we had been followed, don't look back" Samuel tells his sister Sandy.
Both of them walked to a nearby cafe and decided to go get a coffee and assess the situation. True enough, a young lady came in right after. After 10 minutes the young lady approaches Samuel and introduce herself as Salley, a fan of Samuel who is a airline pilot by training. Asking for an autograph, puzzled but Samuel obligated nonetheless.
What he was being told next surprises both Samuel and Sandy further as this fan girl has even secured an internship at Samuel's airline. Back home feeling uneasy, Sandy decided to do a digital CSI of Salley.
Punching"Salley" into the browser returns a Facebook profile of the very fan girl, reading through her posts it turns out that Salley is the other daughter of their father from an affair they never knew of.
As Salley's mother is currently ill, Salley decided to seek out her other siblings to feel the warmth of a sibling.
Reading through and after discussing, Samuel and Sandy decided to acknowledge Salley and to look after her since it's no fault of hers, but it's their father who created this mess and Salley should not be punished for that.
