5 Minutes Free Writing - Strange Dough
Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - Strange Dough. Hope you enjoy the story.
After a long week of off-site assignment, Lenny finally drags her tired body back home after a long 3 hors drive.
As today is the closing of the annual convention her company always has to showcase their nw products to customer, she had not had the time to have a proper meal the whole day being the overall in-charge, she's always running around to make sure all's good.
She enters the kitchen trying to see what's left in the cabinet that she can quickly cook and feeds her stomach and she can turn in for the night quickly too.
She finds a strange dough laying on the table with a strong stench the moment she enters the kitchen. For a moment, she thought it's left behind by John, her boyfriend of 3 years and who is a certified baker by profession.
Then she recalled that she's the one leaving the dough on the table before she left home few days ago on a phone call. She's practicing to do up a ginger bread man design bread as a surprise item for the coming Christmas dinner with the family.
Very obviously, she needs more time and practice as it's a strange looking dough without the ginger bread man feel that is needed to identify it.
