After months of careful round the clock surveillance, today, all of the city's available police resources is activated and will be deployed in a siege to bring in 10 suspects islandwide. The siege operation is mounted as he police suspects that these 10 know each other. Bringing them in for questioning individually might alert the rest and in worst case, alert the ring and they would have time to react. Destroying evidence and starts moving I'll gotten funds out of the country's financial system.

The siege is largely a success, police manages to bring in all the suspects they targeted. Although there were a couple of them who were injured while trying to evade arrest.

The siege operation being one of the largest in the city's history. It took the city by shock when it's reported in the news next couple of days with headlines splashing across all papers.

People were in shock largely becaause the city has been orderly and naturally it is unexpected that an operation of such scale even took place and with a sound financial system. How can these suspect move ill gotten funds into the system and authority took so long to lay a siege operation to bring them in.
