I think all drivers would agree driving can be both fun and stressful at the same time.

Driving puts you in control of a moving vehicle on a road with other road users like cyclist and pedestrian. Drivers not only control their vehicle, they have to stay focus and keep a look out for other vehicles and anticipate the driver's intention through signals and positioning of the vehicle.

Most importantly, the price to pay for an accident is simply too high, in the worst case, loss of live. As such, just damage to the vehicle in an accident is the lucky event.

Therefore, drivers need to stay alert, have good eye hand coordination and quick response thinking on the move. Therefore, driving instructors are strict with learner drivers as they need to impart the right skills to them from the start.

One mistake learner drivers commit is not checking where they are turning into and the worst case is they turn into a one way street.

Once they do that, they would be lucky if there are no oncoming traffic, else they would have to do a reverse down the street to get out and that can be very tricky for learners.
