Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - Protest. Hope you enjoy the story.
Inmate 1234 is refusing food and drink to protest what he perceived as injustice against him.
He has been on a hunger strike for the past 10 days. The prison warden is currently monitoring his vitals carefully as his accusation of his imprisonment being politically motivated is very sensitive at a time of instability.
To protest is to take certain action within one's mean to express anger or disagreement against certain person, decision or policy. In certain countries, protest is a legal right accorded to citizens. But the pretext is it has to be peaceful.
But protest campaign is actually very dangerous as such gathering can lead to sensitive atmosphere and rising temper and tension.
Any miscalculation from any party involved will lead to escalation and violence will break out leading to loss of lives and damage to property of the innocence.
Some recent massive protest that comes toy mond while writing this piece is the anti government protest that took place in Hong Kong that lasted for quite a long while.
Another massive protest in the US is the Black Lives Matters protest. Both protests started with unhappiness, taking on momentum. We should always stay calm and tryto resolve difference through dialogues and negotiations.
