Sitting in the accused corner, Kent was asked by the judge how does he plead to the charge of a patent lie?

Kent stood up, buttons up his suit and respondes with "Not guilty" and all parties are set to go to trial.

The charge is brought about by a distributor of Kent's patented machine a weight scale that claim to be able to help regulate metabolism and in turns help users to lose weight.

With a 2 years research period and a whole hard disk of data and research paper. They went ahead to file for patent and recruitment of distributor. Claiming it to be the first of it's kind in the industry.

His distributor faces question from the customer who is more health conscious and thus were self monitoring the numbers from the scale daily.

Eventually the customer sees no improvement in the numbers and thus concluded that patent claim of the weight scale is nothing but a hoax and felt cheated , decided to bring a lawsuit to protect other consumer and also to bring justice for the effort she took over the months due to this patent lie.
