John the captain of the school soccer team had a food poisoning episode and is currently resting at home. Thus Howard the vice captain finally got to wear that Captain's armband and lead the team out to the pitch for the first time.
But as Howard has never see John as a fitting leader thus he has never seriously learn how to lead the team thus in today's match, players were not happy and Howard did not meditate in time leading to the outburst.
Captain, in many capacity is a leadership position. Thus, with the title comes with a shoulder of responsibility. A decision taken by the captain impacts not only himself but many under his watch too. Lete quote a few:

Can you imagine the disastrous outcome if someone who is not the real captain comes to assume command?
