5 Minutes Free Writing - Not a Kangaroo
Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - Not a Kangaroo.Hope you enjoy the story.
"Class, please stop jumping up and down, you are not a Kangaroo" yelled the form teacher.
"What's a kangaroo" asked a puzzled Jamie, yes, it might be difficult to comprehend a kangaroo for a group of pre-school kids.
So Rainie , the form teacher decidd to take this opportunity to introduce to the class this animal named Kangaroo. She starts off by googling some photos of kangaroo, she introduced kangaroo as a good long jumper in the world of animals.
As it has short front limps, but very short back limps, they can leap 25-30 feet in a jump, that's close to 7-9 meters. That's what they are best known for.
Second important characteristic of Kangaroo, is that they have a pocket and they carry their child in the pocket, interestingly, their kids are safe in the pocket even as they hops around. Like an extension of the body, the parents won't have to worry about their children not catching up.
If you are driving in Australia, then we have to really be careful of kangaroos crossing the road, if you shine your headlights at Kangaroo and they will be stunned and remain in the middle of the road.
So class, stop jumping around, you guys are not a Kangaroo.
