In the court room, after the charges are read out to the accused, the judge would ask how does the accused plead to the charges.
Of course, when we are not in the wrong, we have no guilt, the accused would plead not guilty, and the trial proceeding begins.
In life, I think we should also always strive to do the right thing to ensure w have no guilt. Now, there's a distinction we need to draw between doing the right thing to have no guilt and doing the popular things. Some decisions are hard to take as it's not the most popular decision where the majority would be happy to receive and accept.
But, there's an important skill of a leader in an organization. Leaders are trained to take decision which is part of their job responsibilities and that is what separates then from rank and file.
Imagine an exercise of lay off, a leader would need to decide who to be on the list. It's a tough and painful decision to take. Thus, it's in such situations leaders have to take a tough decision ad ensure they have no guilt, which can be diffic.
