I believe most of us carry at least one form of electronic device with us, our mobile phones. When it was first introduced to the world, it is a communication device, but it has evolved into a necessity today where it's function has expanded beyond that with internet and various applications.
But there are places where electronic devices are banned for various reasons like for security, electronic devices are not allowed in certain areas of military bases.
The Sistine chapel in Italy likewise banned electronic devices but it is because it is a sacred place. Another venue I can think of where no electronic devices are not allowed iare the ICU of hospitals as these places are where the most ill and the most vulnerable are housed. The devices inside must stay accurate and not be disrupted as some are life vitals signal feedback machine. While some are life support devices which when interrupted might result in the loss of lives.
So, the next time when we come across signages informing us of " No electronics here" Let's be sure to abide by it as breaches could result in threats to national security, loss of value and in worst cases, the lost of lives.
