Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - My clutch. Hope you enjoy the story.
Ben, the clutch man, a nickname he earned from his on court performance on the street basketball court in the neighborhood.
Other than the fact that he is a sharpshooter and his team would definitely entrust him with the clutch shot that will earn them victory. He has another signature, he plays while having a clutch to support his left leg. Yes, Ben is differently abled, a player playing with a clutch taking clutch shot.
The reason for his clutch? Ben met with an unfortunate incident at age 4 that cost him his leg. To encourage a sad and shattered Ben, his father custom make a clutch for him so that his leg is comfortably and securely locked in the clutch so he will be able to walk.
After Ben is accustomed to using his clutch, his father went a step further by gifting him a basketball and motivates him to be confident and to step out and take a shot. Staying by his side all the while for the first year.
Over time, Ben's skill improve and his is now one with his clutch and he's the Clutch man.
