Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - It's in the other aisle. Hope you enjoy the story.
Fo some gentleman who seldom do groceries shopping, do you feel like you have entered a maze when you try navigating the various aisles in the supermarket?
The spaces are nicely partition by shelves, packed nicely with products of different brands side by side and categories of daily necessities nicely divided in different aisle identify by a board at the entrance of each aisle.
Interesting, I always get the items I needed from the next aisle, despite following the labels. But again, our learning ability comes to play when you realize you are getting better navigating this supermarket maze when we do more trips of groceries shopping.
I remember vividly, during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown, only essential trips such as groceries shopping is permitted, and my 1st trip to the nearest supermarket in a long while, I spent close to 45 minutes combing through every aisle, every shelves, looking through every brand of the products I need.
But as it becomes a weekly task to have a trip out, and as our lifestyle has been very much the same as basically there's very much nothing much we can do except daily living. A year in, I complete the trip in 20 minutes, not worrying about not finding my item then to get it in the other aisle.
