Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - Intermediate at best. Hope you enjoy the story.
"Jenny, understand that you have recently completed the AI learner course by ABC institution, are you confident to start an AI team in office to boast automation effort?" Asked Ron the director.
"Yes boss, I did that course, but I am Intermediate a best" replied Jenny.
Have we all used this reply to some of our supervisor 's question? Some might be true that we are intermediate at best, able to start, have some idea, unfortunately not an expert in that subject matter.
Others might just an excuse so as to avoid getting additional load on our plate.
Being intermediate could be a good state to be in for the not overly ambitious, why? Because being intermediate mans we are not too green to the task, we are able to function without much supervision. This ease off some stress on the supervisor than assigning the task to beginners. The cost of learning and time for mistake is higher.
But not proceeding to expert might lead us to be viewed as not having motivation and initiative to improve, instead choosing to stay status quo. And thus we might be passed in time of review and career progression.
Thus, please use intermediate at best as answer wisely.
