"I insist !" Jerome is insistent on knowing the reason why Jamie wants to break up with him after a 4 years often turbulence relationship.
"It's time like this that when you insist on it!" Jamie lost her cool and screamed.
Being insistent is a character trait and like every coon that has 2 sides, being insistent in different situations can lead to different outcome. Some good, some bad, some might land you in disrepute.
Most society is rule by law to ensure fairness and equality. When you are an law enforcement officer, be it the police, prosecutor or defense counsel. These occupation I think needs insistent as a trait. They should insist on it - the truth and nothing less. Their work decided if the culprit is brought to justice and if the innocent are cleared.
But if we are in a supermarket going after discounted items and if they run out before we could land our hand on the item. Now, should we continue to insist on having the item or if we are late by a day and it's out of the promotional period, should we still insist and to be seen as unreasonable?
