"Failure is here to guide you to success" a quote Kimberly's mentor leave on her desk when she failed to resuscitate a patient while on shift in the A&E earlier in the day.
Over lunch, still overwhelmed with guilt, Kimberly asked her mentor Emily if she incapable of doing anything. As Emily the chief resident needs to prepare for an operation alongside her professor, tells Kimberly to take a 2 hours break to settle down before going on call again. As she determine Kimberly is currently not in a right state of spirit to work.
That evening, Emily ask to meet Kimberly at the cafe, sipping her coffee, Emily pass her a thumb drive of soothing music and tells her that the only person who is incapable of doing anything are those that have passed. Everyone is born for a reason, since birth, each and every one of us regardless of social status, family, or anything else, we were all capable to cry and breathe. These are thing we as human have to and capable of doing. Of course, not all can but that's why we are here, spending years reading medicine to help. Don't think of what we cannot, lok for things we can. Emily told her, after the talk, Kimberly finds a new purpose.
