"We are rushing, we need to have the building built up by end of the quarter" demanded Edmund, the project director.

"But our workers's permits is going to expire soon before that." Frankie the project manager.

As the paperwork involved is massive and they are late, continying without valid permit would be working without permit and the consequences is dire.

In the face of pressure, Edmund is hinting to Frankie that they probably should try ways for illegal extension if they need.

Frankie got what Edmund means but as the application form only needs one signatory, and that usually is by default that of Frankie.

Frankie is unwilling to take the risk his career as he is the sole bread winner at home. And any arrest due to this illegal extension would put his wife and kids in unnecessary suffering.

Be it bribery or current permit doctoring, both is unacceptable and this is not what a law abiding citizen should do. After deliberating for a day. Frankie decided to escalate this issue to George the managing director.

The next day, after learning of Edmund,s intent. George suspended him from the project.
