Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - I'm a Engineer . Hope you enjoy the story.
It's 9am in the morning, everyone start moving to the meeting room for the morning engineering meeting. It's a meeting where a group of engineers comes together to discuss issues of the day. Engineering is a big discipline by itself, it can range from computer to engineering where they build faster and better machines to civic engineering where without their calculation, tall buildings cannot be eracted off the group.
If you were to introduce yourself to new contact as I'm an Engineer, irregardless of your discipline, you can expect them to expect you to have a logical brain, as that's what an engineer do, quietly reason with the facts and data to logically derive a model why failure happen or how not to have an issue via certain design,
Then is it so that engineers are logical but uncreative? I beg to differ, as given limited resources and manpower and definitely project cost budget, engineers need to derive creative solutions that not only works within the constraints but also solve the problem on hand.
At times, I think engineers are like magicians, engineers create something from nothing to solve an existing problem or improve a condition.
Let's be proud when we introduced ourselves as I'm an Engineer.
Curated! Thanks for using Ecency!
