Beard, a good sign of male hormones, while some prefer to keep one as a sign of maturity, others like myself would prefer clean shave, as not all beard are nice looking, thus some would look sloppy and unkept with a poorly maintain beard. Yes, it takes effort to keep the volume and shape of the beard to suit one's look.

"He has a beard" one of the common statement when someone does a photo ID of some suspect with the investigator. And of course beard has become iconic for some.

If you were told to guess somebody given he has a beard, who comes to your mind immediately? James Harden, the NBA superstar pop right up in my mind. It's so representative of him that he's nickname the beard.

To many, beard do not hold significance, but for harden, it's is dollar, his contract requires him to have his beard, he is not allowed to part with his beard. It's his asset.

I wonder how heavy is his beard weighing on his face, given the number of years he had it and in summer, he would need extra routine I believe. Any fan of beard here who can no longer imagine oneself without a beard.
