"Peter, your wife is sitting in your office now" his law chamber partner Andy said over the phone panicking over what's going to happen next. As Peter's wife Judy is one of the top counsel in town for marital dispute and divorce case.
As Judy turn up in his husband's office unannounced came as a surprise to many as both of them have been married to each other for 7 years and they had a mutual agreement that they would not be in each other's office to avoid potential conflict of interest.
Andy guess she's here for the case of Nico, the wealthy banker who has recently been entangled in a extra marital scandal. And Peter has decided to represent Nico despite the protest from Judy who insisted Nico he should divorce and pay alimony of $30,000 monthly and gave up the custodial right to their daughter.
The matter escalated as Judy is the family counsel for Mrs Nico and they are both on opposing end, to protect their client right, Peter has been staying with his parents while Judy in their marriage home.
Judy has never gave up the idea that Peter should gave up the case and Nico should divorce and agree to all the terms lay out, thus the episode in office today.
