Standing in front of the police station for the past 20 minutes, Jane is still hesitating if she should proceed to file a police report of workplace harassment as she has been harass by her immediate supervisor for the past 2 months with repeated calls and messages on her off and rest days. She complied with all the additional work requests as she's newly hired into the position and her probation confirmation is due soon, thus Jane does not wish to risk workplace retaliation.

Let's discuss a little of being harass or harassment. It can appear in many forms, many we may not even know it is as it can be in the form of bullying, discrimination and sexual nature behavios. Let me try to list some: Sexual harassment obviously, verbal harassment, gesturing of non verbal form and even cyber bullying through email or messages.

Next up is how we can protect ourselves, first, we need to document all these harassment acts. And if it occurred within the workplace, activate the mechanism offered by the employer to report internal and if it does not yield positive improvement, seek external help by reporting externally.

Let's all not be harass and not harass anyone and not be victims of such behaviors
