"Ok class, we are next into a key topic for the upcoming semester final, Gradient" declared Mdm Robinson.

"After this topic, you guys would be able to handle questions on slope confidently".

So the first thing about Maths like any other concept, Mdm Robinson start scribbling the formula to calculate gradient on the whiteboard: m= (y2-y1) / (x2-x1). This formula is for the students to find the slope of a straight line.

Like in any classes, there will be some students who are not as mathematically incline as this subject is more abstract compared to others and Mdm Robinson being an experienced educator understands that.

She went on to explain to the class why knowing the gradient formula is important to the class.

"As our classroom is on the 2nd floor and we do not have a lift, we use the stairs but how is stairs build? It's a straight line rise to a height y2 from an anchor point on the 1st floor y2. But don't forget that as it move upwards the x axis also has 2 points x2 and x1, when we handle the difference of both with a division, we get the gradient of this slope and know how incline it is. And it's everywhere in our lives if you observe carefully class"

With this, the kids wow in an interesting synchronous tone and Mdm Robinson is happy to see the class starting to get a grip on the topic.
