Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - Fee for doing what?. Hope you enjoy the story.
"Jane, please go through the invoice of Albert Servicing Pte Ltd when you are in office later, thanks" reads the text from Moses, the servicing department manager.
He requested for the review as he noticed a charge of $20.50 miscellaneous fee, he doesn't understand the fee is for doing what? To make matter worse, it's classified as miscellaneous that makes it all confusing. As once he penned his signature, payment will be disbursed thus, he wants to be very clear of all the charges and fee.
This led us to ponder over a question, how do we managed our finances individually? Do we check line by line our itemized bill to understand what we are paying for. Or are we blindly simply paying whatever amount stated when we login to the various app. If we are the later, is it because we were too busy or are we simply lazy to understand our bill and put us at risk of paying fee for some service we don't know for doing what. I think we should have cultivate a good babit of reviewing our bills and know what we are paying for. Remember our money is still ours so long it sits in our wallet or account and if we were to dispute later, we might not be unable to get a refund.
