Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - Don't Go into that Forest. Hope you enjoy the story.
Sam, a successful manager on weekdays and an avid hiker on weekends. He enjoys visiting mountain and forest to get close to the nature and hone his survival skill, as he feels that his current lifestyle is very urban and bricks and mortar.
His to do list includes visit Danger (fictional) which his dad warns him whenever they are on this topic not to go into that forest. Sam cannot understand why his dad is against the forest, which to him sounds pretty normal except that of the name.
His father finally decided to share with him the rumour that's been circulating regarding Danger. It's runouted that there's a platoon of soldiers who had been left behind by their unit during one of their outfield training exercise, despite the army launching an all out man hunt that lasted 3 days.
This platoon of soldiers is deemed extremely dangerous as they were under extreme stress feeling abandoned and being cut out with update from the world. They were likely to attack anyone near them or the worse case, there would be just another missing person who simply cannot be found like that platoon of soldiers.
Therefore don't go into that forest.
