"Do we have a deal or no deal?" Asked Conlins the chief negotiator for Thomas, who is still trying to work out a deal with the landowner to acquire his land for their mega development project.
But as both parties hold on to their demands and each unwilling to concede slightly on the terms to try to reach a deal. The chances of them striking the deal is reducing each passing day.
A deal involves both conflicting or cooperating partners each giving and receiving compromise on both sides so as to reach a compromise agreement where both parties thinks their interest has been covered and concerns addressed to break a dead lock situation.
One such global peace deal I can quickly recall is the Russian-Ukraine conflict with the years long war yet to conclude as negotiators from both sides trying to arrive at a peace deal but it is very tough for them as it involves sovereignty of country, no elected leader is willing to yield as it might be ready as being weak both domestically and internationally.
But for the peace of the people and the order of the world, I do certainly wish for the conflict to end conclusive and they reach a deal instead of a no deal.
