Crying, not an entitlement of an infant or a young child. Of cou, crying would trigger a thought of babies is because they have yet to learn the adult of communication by speaking and writing. All they can do is cry.

As we grew, we learnt more communication skills, by talking, by writing is the 2 most common ways, we slowly abandoned crying as a way f communicating or even as a basic way of expressing our emotion.

But crying is not all bad, especially in today's society where we are getting more digitally connected and our emotion are affected by people perhaps we have never met before. But we can be affected emotionally and mentally. Crying allowed us to release anger and frustration and sadness. It helps us destress, and not bottle up our emotion and hurting alone.

Crying, in asian society, has more of a taboo for Man, as head of family as a father or a son. We were taught Man don't shed tear, we shed blood, then we were deny an avenue of emotion expression. But if we look at gender equality, man should share the right to shed tears as we are not immune to emotional events. It reminds me of a song in Chinese titled It's not a crime to shed tears for Man.
