In the course of our work, I am sure we have been warned to guide against the butterfly effect. This reminds us of the importance of paying attention to detail and having the patience to check our work even if it's for a missing screw. Let's examine this with 2 scenarios.

When we take our semester end exam, very often, the question do not stand alone, they are make up by parts that's interlinked. Where the later sub question would need input from earlier part. Therefore, if you made a mistake in the earlier part, the whole question would go wrong and you cannot score full mark for that question and we could miss an A grade due to that 1 or 2 marks.

Secondly, butterfly effects can be deadly in the manufacturing industry. Say the aviation industry, where a missing screw while maintenance can lead to a component gving way in high altitude, ad in turn, even well trained pilots might be unable to turn things around causing a major tragedy.

Thus, let's not underestimate the power of butterfly effect especially when we start to take things for granted.
