"Defense Counsel, I would adjourn the court for lunch now, and I expect that you better lawyer up by then as a form of respect to this court!"

The presiding judge chided Leonard for turning up for his client's court session dressing in beach wear and with a luggage. Judge Sandy is known to be very particular about how lawyers dressed and behave in her court room. And from what was mentioned to Leonard just now, it is pretty obvious that she now don't see him in a good light , and this is not a piece of good news as he is the defense and her impression might discount his client too.

But the reason for this is that his flight back was delayed due to air traffic control as he was in Japan for investigative work for this particular case. A key witness is said to be traveling there and they had to subpoena him, so to ensure he will be call as witness in the trial. Such delayed is unpredictable and his paralegal is also out to follow up on some other cases thus no one was there with his suit.

But since the court was adjourned, Leonard rushed to the nearest shopping center to buy himself a set of clothes and shoe and by the time Judge Sandy is satisfied. " I see that you have got my instructions and lawyer up, Counsel." She remarked at the start of the session.
