Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - Beat That! Hope you enjoy the story.
Yvonne touched the wall in a new national record time of 59 seconds in the 100m butterfly event. Someone has finally beat that record that has been standing for 5 years. Yvonne now holds all national records for the discipline of butterfly swimming. A feat that has no prior. She now is the champion others had to beat to get a chance at a podium finish on the top step. But what about Yvonne? Having becoming the latest Butterfly Queen, she needs to continue to go faster to beat that record, pushing the line a little bit each time, every time for her countryman.
At times, we need the atmosphere and motivation to stay energized and focus, thus we might be screaming go out and beat that team, you have it. But, there's always 2 sides to a coin. We should never encourage violence by telling anyone to go beat that person. It is never going to be all right once violence takes place. You might be in the right from the start but violence undo it all.
Therefore, when we say beat that, it should be for achievements and positivity and never for violence.
Your story leaves us with a beautiful message. Without a doubt, personal growth is very important, but you shouldn't step on anyone to achieve your goals.
Thanks for sharing your story with us.
Excellent Saturday.
