Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - Audience of One. Hope you enjoy the story.
"You will do well, don't worry"
Aaron brings a smile to his face on his mom's assurance.
Today is his ABRSM piano grade 6 examination, Aaron still feel stressed as he will be playing the piece Gambarini. Despite practicing for a long time, Aaron is literally sitting at the piano and playing his piece repeatedly.
Why does he take it so seriously? It turns out that it was his mom's dream to have him to have a piano concert when he grows up as that is something she wants to do, but was unable to accomplish.
As such, Aaron unwilling took up piano lessons under the passive aggressive tactics of his mom. This year, as his birthday party is close to his examination, his mom has planned a birthday party for him, and Aaron will play his exam piece to his friends. Many whom are already grade 6 or higher certified.
"Don't worry about not doing well or having no audience, you will definitely have at least an audience of one. And that's me"
Aaron's mom tells him having sense his stresses. Aaron is back at the piano after dinner, playing to his audience of one.
