Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - A Vat of Wine. Hope you enjoy the story.
While out on a trekking trip down the country side, both Roger and his partner Lennie were lost as they had not brought their hardcopy map, and to make matter worse, they forget to ensure their phone were fully charge up.
Thus this unexpected turn of event has caught them by surprise, therefore, they can only try to find their way out. By dusk, they came across a small farm side, in it, a small house sits quietly.
As they were both tired and hungry, they decided to seek help from the owner of the house, to get their phones charge up and also perhaps pay for a dinner meal. As they approach the house, the door was ajar and warm light was shining brightly in the house.
From the door, they could see a vat of wine that is approximately 50L visually that looks inviting by the dining table. A gentleman greeted them at the door when they came calling.
It turns out, they were not the first couple he met who were lost and seek help. He hosted them to dinner and offer them some wine tasting from the vat as it's the latest attempt after he change the material of the vat from stainless steel to oak and wood.
