Familiar face - 5 minutes free write

Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome 🤗

Nana couldn't stop staring at Janet, her son's fiancée; there was just something about her—she had a familiar face. Janet looked like one of her former colleagues, Angela, whom she met way back when she had just started working in the ministry.

Just like her name, Angela was an angel in human form. She was the nicest person Nana had ever met.

Angela was empathetic and understanding; whenever Nana's boss gave her a tough time, it was Angela who would comfort her with nice and warm words, but after some time, Angela stopped coming to work, and when Nana made an inquiry, she was told Angela ran out of the house with her little daughter because her husband was very abusive.

Nana did all she could to locate Angela, but to no avail. Then she gave up, hoping that one day their paths might cross again.

Mom, are you okay? You have been staring at my fiancée with a deep thought on your face. Tony asked

Yes, everything is okay; she just reminded me of a longtime friend.

THANK YOU FOR READING TO THE END 🤗

Hahaha! It could be possible the son's fiancee is the title girl Angela ran away with

When I get that feeling of a familiar face, I try as much to figure out who the person is. Sometimes I even walk up to them and make some inquiries so as to be clear.

I do that too sometimes. And the person might just turn out to be some one you know or have met
