Pront: "Falta de experiencia"

Recuerdo que cuando era un muchacho, y estaba ya por los 18 años, comencé a buscar empleo en una oficina, ya que me gustaba ganar dinero. Pero mi primera experiencia laboral, fue en unas vacaciones, cuando tenía catorce años, cuando trabaje como ayudante de camionero, y después hice también el trabajo de ayudante en algunos oficios.

Pero ya con los 18 años, había terminado el bachillerato, estaba esperando el cupo para ingresar a la universidad y además, estaba terminando la primera parte del curso de contabilidad que daba el Centro Contable. Así que quería conseguir un trabajo en una oficina, ya que quería, poder generar un nivel de experiencia y estabilidad, para cuando terminase mi carrera universitaria.

Recuerdo que en esa época quería ser contador público, periodista o historiador, mis amigos se reían, ya que decían que tenía gustos bien variados. Pero para mí era sencillo, si pensaba en ganar dinero como profesional debía ingresar a estudiar para ser contador y si hacía lo que me gustaba, sería periodista o historiador.

Pero, como tenía ya la primera parte del afamado curso del Centro Contable lista y la había pasado con notas excelentes, había decidido, buscar trabajo en una empresa o en una institución. Sin embargo, cada vez que iba a buscar, me decían los seres, esos que trabajan en el área de personal: "Usted no tiene experiencia. Hasta que un día le dije a una señora: ¨¿Cómo pretenden que los jóvenes tengan experiencia, si no nos dan trabajo". Y al parecer esa frase la convenció y me contrataron para llevar las conciliaciones bancarias, en esa empresa.

Hoy en día es todo lo contrario, ya que los seres que trabajan en personal, me dicen que el currículo personal es muy completo y competitivo, y por lo tanto no tienen un puesto que ofrecerme. En fin, en los temas referente a la falta de experiencia o el exceso de experiencia laboral, prefiero mantenerme a distancia, ya que ambos son excluyentes.

I remember that when I was a boy, and I was already 18 years old, I started looking for a job in an office, because I liked to earn money. But my first work experience was on a vacation, when I was fourteen, when I worked as a truck driver's assistant, and then I also did the job of an assistant in some trades.

But already at the age of 18, he had finished high school, was waiting for the quota to enter the university and also, he was finishing the first part of the accounting course given by the Accounting Center. So I wanted to get a job in an office, because I wanted to be able to generate a level of experience and stability, by the time I finished my university degree.

I remember that at that time I wanted to be a public accountant, a journalist or a historian. My friends laughed, because they said I had very varied tastes. But for me it was simple, if I thought about earning money as a professional I should enter to study to be an accountant and if I did what I liked, I would be a journalist or historian.

But, since I already had the first part of the famous Accounting Center course ready and had passed it with excellent grades, I had decided to look for a job in a company or in an institution. However, every time I went to look, the beings, those who work in the personnel area, told me: "You have no experience. Until one day I said to a lady: How do you expect young people to have experience, if they don't give us jobs." And apparently that sentence convinced her and they hired me to take the bank reconciliations, in that company.

Nowadays it is the opposite, since the people who work in personal, tell me that the personal curriculum is very complete and competitive, and therefore they do not have a position to offer me. Anyway, on the issues related to lack of experience or excess of work experience, I prefer to keep a distance, since both are exclusionary.
