Hmmm 🤔

From the several definitions of an imp I found, only one made sense to be out together with gregarious. And thinking about it, there are really gregarious imps around us.
Now, imps my beautiful defined as demons, mythical being, etc. but I'm sure the literal meaning isn't what is expected, at least as long as this prompt is concerned.
Like I said, we really do have mischievous people that also are very social. In fact, they are social mainly to show their mischievousness to new people.
I know of someone that is very sociable. At first glance she will seem to be the friendliest person you've ever met. But beneath all that niceness lies a very dirty lifestyle.
How I got to know the kind of person she is was when we went on a field trip. She was my course mate, and it is a requirement in our course for us to go to the field every year throughout our degree. Now we had a couple in our department that started their romance since the first year. In the beginning we all thought they were just kids, and the relationship wouldn't last. To our surprise, pleasant surprise, might I add, they kept going strong till our final year first semester. Something happened between them that shook the relationship badly. I don't know the details. We all saw how they become and we all hoped the damage wasn't permanent. They too were trying to make it work. Now it was time to go for our final first trip. Every student had gotten to the school and was awaiting for the bus that we were supposed to depart with. The mischievous course mate (let's call her Bee), started making advances towards the guy that has his relationship shaky. Most of us didn't know what to make of what we were seeing, but we ignored thinking it wasn't our business. If only we knew Bee's intentions. Bee sat next to the guy, touching him, seemingly unintentionally. She always wanted to be were he was, knowing that it bothered the girl. But Bee didn't care. The buses finally came and it was time board. Because of what the other girl had seen Bee do, and because it didn't seem to her that her man was doing anything to stop it, she boarded a different bus from him. He trying to convince her that they should stay in the same bus that's when she let it all out. To cut the long story short, all three of them boarded different buses, with Bee being the first to remove herself near them.
As we the journey started, and we were on the road, one of the persons that saw what transpired decided to ask Bee why she did what she did. Her response got everyone speechless. She said she did it because it felt good seeing their relationship crumble. Not because she liked the guy. Not because the girl did her any hurt. She just felt good having a hand in the destruction it their relationship. It was so surprising because we all thought she was a nice person and would never do such a thing.
Truly, there are gregarious imps around us.
