I have passed through hell, yet I never shouted.
I have stayed hungry for days just to make sure others had something to eat.
I have slept outside just to give others a comfortable place to sleep.
I have spent my last dime to save a life.
I have stepped out of my comfort zone just to make others feel at ease.
I have toiled day and night just to put food on my table.
I have seen the ups and downs, the good and the bad, in the journey of survival.
I was once a dropout, but I still pushed hard to ensure you all went to school.
I have paid the price.
Respect me, I am your father.
And so he said to his children.
