Just when I thought I had seen everything, then boom, it was our carpenter. We were talking about replacing our wooden windows and fixing the glass window, and our carpenter overheard us. Right away, he said he could do it. We all started laughing. This wasn’t woodwork, we were talking about glass windows. But before we could finish talking, he jumped in and said, “I know, I will fix it. Just give me a trial.”

Then our neighbor came out and shouted, “Don’t give him the job ooo. He will fix a wooden window in an aluminum frame for you. That’s what he does after collecting your money.”

We were shocked and asked, “A wooden window in an aluminum frame? How is that possible?”

She said, “He will bring the aluminum frame, fix it, and then tell you he’s going to bring the glass window later. He will say the wooden one should stay there for now. But once he leaves, you will not see him again. You will call and call and call, but he won’t come back. Don’t fall for it.”

And just like that, our neighbor saved us from ending up with a wooden window inside an aluminum frame.
