Daily Prompt for 26/08/26
I hate noise in where I am staying. Especially when the noise is not necessary. The other day I told my neighbor's children to mind the way they are always shouting, but they refused. I repeated it severally and they took it as play. The mum was not even helping matters , she supported them. I kept quiet.
One faithful Saturday , they were still playing and shouting. All of a sudden, I think one of them slipped on the wet floor, and had a dislocation. He was shouting when he fell down. I heard it and I didn't even bother to go out and check what happened because at first I
thought it was their normal play, and I believed others thought same too.
When I heard the mother raising alarm, I stepped out to check and I knew it was serious. I only told the mum what to do and directed her on where to go to. And she was confused and wanted sharing the task in form of seeking for help, I quitely left her with feeling any guilt .
I reminded her about always telling her about the children's noise. Because had it been everyone stepped out on time to check, the issue would have not gotten to that level.
