Follow the cat

We had a cat back then, and it was such a nice pet to keep. It was calm, playful, and humble. The cat got used to all of us and never disturbed the peace of the house. We would leave food for it before going to work, and it would eat and stay quietly until we returned. Whenever it noticed we were eating, it would come around and just stare at us.

However, at some point, the cat became wild. It started trying to get into the kitchen on its own and would sometimes attempt to pick food not meant for it. It became very disturbing, often jumping on us while we ate. So we decided to sell it, but catching it was a problem. One evening, as it was heading to the veranda, my mum said I should follow the cat. I quickly followed it with a bag, grabbed it, put it inside the bag, tightened it, and delivered it to the buyer.
