I went to church the other day and I sat close to a woman and her son. The son was a boy of about 10 to 13 years of age. The only problem I had with the boy is that, he could not control himself and sit one place. He was busy moving around, touching things and people and personally, I hate someone who is not coordinated. The funny part is that in all these, the mother was busy smiling without doing anything, I kept quiet.
At a point the boy touched me without no reason and smile, I looked at him and ignored as if nothing happened and he was busy smiling, the mother only told him to stop that. I didn't say a word, I only assumed it was a mistake. As the church was still going on, the young guy stepped on my toes , that was the second time . I grabbed him by the t-shirt, dragged him to myself , the mum was still look, I told him " if you try that nonsense again, I will give you a knock and you will calm down " , at that point he noticed I was not there to joke with him like the mother. And throughout the church service he was calm whenever he shifted near me. I noticed he kept doing the nonsense and acting anyhow when he left the row that we were sitting, but never tried that when he came close.
At times we joke and smile too much with our children over a negative character that should have been addressed with immediate effect . And they might think it's normal and grow with the nonsense behavior, which might letter become a problem to you the parents and by extension others. Let's always try and correct abnormalities when we see one.
