Missed in the Blizzard - #ZapFic1OO
Hello Hive. 😃 I'm back again with another @drabble.club microfiction, that is #zapfic100, inspired by the phrase prompt "a blast of cold air" taken from @mariannewest's post.

A flurry of snow quickly turned into a snowstorm. Within the hour, it was a blizzard. Diane became worried and paced around. It was getting dark. Rick should have returned from the store.
Insulated in multiple layers of clothing and armed with a big flashlight, Diane left the apartment to find Rick, her only son.
A blast of cold air hit her in the face as she stepped outside. Visibility was so low that she didn't see someone walk past her.
Rick dusted his feet before opening the door to the apartment. "Mom! I'm back. Wow, it's crazy out there."
