Today is Akwa Ibom day and I feel excited and proud at this point in time to Join other well-meaning Akwaibomites to celebrate our existence as a state.

Akwa ibom is a state in Nigeria Located in the South south region.
It's been 38years of amazing growth and development. As a people we have witnessed series of challenges ranging from political crises, tension, hunger, electoral violence, criminalities just to mention but a few, but in all, we have grown and built our state beyond all these challenges.

We have witnessed significant strides by successive government in an attempt to develop and move the state to a promising future
Past government through the then governors have contributed their quota. The citizens have done their bit. I can only pray that God should keep us as JOINT entities and as one united body, regardless of our different cultural and ethnic beliefs, we shall remain as jointed.
