Nancy walked into her office feeling all confused, she saw that her desk was packed and her belongings were being nicely placed inside carton boxes. She got worried that she might have become a victim of retrenchment due to recent cost tightening measures that is being implemented in her company. She wondered what's the meaning of this tidied up desk and pack belongings.

Suddenly 2 loud pops were heard around her and confetti flew right in front of her. She got a shock as people suddenly gathered around her and shouted, "Congratulations Nancy, our new section manager."

This really caught Nancy off guard as she was still trying to gather what is going on. Her supervisor then came up to her and said, "Thank you for shouldering additional task all around the year and it is time to reward you for your hard work. Your belongings were packed and your desk tidied because you will now move to a new room beside me which will be your new office."

Nancy was so happy and thanked everyone. A nice little surprise for her and a new role awaits her to grow into.
