I think many of would have remembered our schooling days whenever our teacher would be asking us to refer to the textbook to look at a formula or refer to an important group of words for a key concept, our teacher would always shout,"Underline it! This is very important and likely will be tested in your final exams".

And this important tradition is going to slowly fade away into history because sooner or later there will no longer be any physical textbooks or reference books as we charge into the digital age.

As such, underlining is no longer using our pen and pencil to draw a line below those key words or formulas, but rather it has become a simple highlight using the house and subsequently, underlined by pressing control + v to perform this operations. Because of its simplicity, it might make it harder to remember as compared to underline using our pens and pencil.
