I often wondered why is it that I am always on the receiving end of being surprised by management but why is it never the other way round. We have been at the mercy of management decision thinking what they decide for us is the best plan.

But what they think is just only from their own perspective, forcing things upon our throat without considering our emotions or point of view. Even when we share our perspectives, it will not be considered. They always have a plan and if it deviates from their plan which they committed to their superiors, they know they will be questioned. However, such one sided decision making will not make it a good thing for the organization in the long run.

Instead of being surprised, probably it is my turn to share my decision to my director and shock him.
