Rugby is a game where 15 man from each side compete in an 80 minute game trying to score points by going after a single ball and through multiple mean to win the match. And to prevent your opponent from scoring, taking them down or finding ways to impede them from scoring is possible.

And if we examine carefully, this is essentially how it is like in the workplace where power struggle happens. Many people going after the same ball, preventing others from scoring, taking one another down and trying to score points to lead to the final victory of being favoured or showcasing how good one is. The ugly nature of power struggle brings out the rugby match between the executives as they pit themselves against one another and more often than not, many will be left injured in the course of the struggle. Some might even resort to dirty tricks that escape the eyes of the referee to get some advantage to themselves.

More often than not, if possible, stay away from power struggle and focus on your work else you will get drag into tackles and take downs.
